Brought the Sunbird out for the holiday weekend since I’m off work tomorrow.
Drove my son to a barbecue with some friends about 20 miles away in the next county over. He fell asleep halfway home and I spent the rest of the drive rapidly scanning the desolate country roads for suicidal deer.
She has 57,700-something miles, now. I love driving it but I feel guilty about getting it dirty and putting miles on it.

Take pride in the miles you spend enjoying the car

Suicidal deer! Haha!
It will only get worse once the rut is on.

I can’t say I care for your car itself that much, but I really appreciate the way you like it. We all should have a car that moves us like that.

I understand. It’s not an objectively good car from any standpoint, really. But I love it anyway. If nothing else, it’s just fun to have a car in mint condition t hat was normally just a throwaway vehicle so many years ago.

My family has a penchant for killing deer...but not with guns. Usually with nice vehicles.

Exactly and that’s what makes it an interesting car.
